Dear Wang Mei,
We had our own class Olympics this week!
Our class had five different events—jump
rope, long jump, sit-ups, push-ups, and
"ping-pong pass". Everyone competed in
each event.
The events were fun! Kim won first place in the jump rope event. She jumped 178 times in one minute without stopping. Lisa won second place in the long jump. She jumed very far, but Kim jumped farther.

My favourite event was "ping-pong pass". Each student had to balance a
ping-pong ball with chopsticks and move it from one basket to another
without dropping it. We used a stopwatch to see who was the fastest.
Guess what! I can use chopsticks very well. Tom did his best, but his
ping-pong ball kept falling off his chopsticks.

Our Class Olympics Plan
We would like to include five interesting events as our class Olympics. They are jump rope, long jump, ping-pong pass, sit-ups and group relay race.
The rule of jump rope is that players jump for one minute, and the one with the most jumps wins.
The rule of long jump is that players jump three times, and the farthest one gets first place.
The rule of ping-pong pass is that players use chopsticks to move the ball, and the fastest one wins.
The rule of sit-ups is to do as many as possible in one minute.
The rule of relay race is that group members run one by one and pass the stick safely.
We need to prepare skipping ropes, ping-pong balls, chopsticks, baskets, stopwatches, mats and relay sticks. We believe our class Olympics will be great fun!
