本考点源自Unit 7 “Be a Better Learner!”。在英语中，有些动词后面只能接动名词（doing）作宾语，不能接不定式（to do）。掌握这些动词的用法，对完形填空和写作非常重要。
一、哪些动词后常用动名词作宾语？
常见动词（必背）：
enjoy (喜欢) finish (完成) practice (练习) mind (介意) suggest (建议)
keep (保持) avoid (避免) consider (考虑) miss (错过) imagine (想象)
can't help (忍不住) give up (放弃) feel like (想要) be busy (忙于)
句型结构： 主语 + 这些动词 + 动名词 + 其他
I enjoy reading English books. (我喜欢读英语书。)
Have you finished doing your homework (你完成作业了吗？)
You should practice speaking English every day. (你应该每天练习说英语。)
Do you mind opening the window (你介意打开窗户吗？)
He suggested taking a break. (他建议休息一下。)
二、常用固定短语
can't help doing sth. (忍不住做某事)
give up doing sth. (放弃做某事)
feel like doing sth. (想要做某事)
be busy doing sth. (忙于做某事)
look forward to doing sth. (期待做某事)
pay attention to doing sth. (注意做某事)
be used to doing sth. (习惯于做某事)
三、易错点提醒
易错1： 误用不定式代替动名词。
I enjoy to read books. I enjoy reading books.
易错2： 介词后的动词忘记用动名词。
He is good at play football. He is good at playing football.
易错3： finish / practice 等后接 to do。
She finished to write her report. She finished writing her report.
速记口诀：
动名词作宾语，常见动词要牢记：

suggest, keep, avoid, consider，
介词后面也要加-ing，固定搭配多练习。
