You might know about the Emei martial arts(武术) in wuxia novels by Jin Yong. Does it really exist(存在) The answer is yes.
Emei martial arts started from Mount Emei in Sichuan Province. It has a history of about 3,000 years. Together with Shaolin and Wudang, Emei is one of the three main schools of Chinese kung fu.
Both strength(力量) and softness are important to Emei martial arts. While practising it, people have to move their hands and feet quickly and forcefully(有力地). The movements are full of ups and downs. Emei martial arts have 68 schools and 2,638 practice skills and ways. In 2008, the Emei martial arts became a National Intangible Cultural Heritage(非物质文化遗产) in China.
Ma Zhaolingyun, born in 1998, is an inheritor(传承人) of Emei martial arts. She has amazed people with her skills in her videos.

Three years ago, Ma became popular online because of a video. In the video, she performed martial arts with a sword after throwing garbage(垃圾) into a waste bin!
Ma and her team have kept working out new ways to promote(推广) Emei martial arts. For example, she puts elements(元素) like games and fashion in her videos.
Moreover, Ma works hard to promote traditional Chinese culture beyond just Emei martial arts. She mixes martial arts performances with traditional Chinese calligraphy(书法), tea and other intangible cultural heritage items.

Forest bathing began in Japan in the 1980s. It is a practice called shinrin yoku, which can be translated as “taking in the medicine or air of the forest”. It has recently grown more popular worldwide.
One of the good things of taking a walk in nature is getting away from screens. When we enjoy nature, we keep ourselves away from computers or mobile phones. We take a break and allow ourselves to get strength and energy back. During forest bathing, we are slowing down, stopping making quick decisions, experiencing the pleasure of nature through all of our senses, enjoying being alive and enjoying just the present moment.
In fact, forest bathing is also becoming a more and more popular way of treating stress(压力). Forest bathing is believed to help those experiencing stressful situations. In one recent study, people who formed the habit of walking through forests had lowered blood pressure(血压) and got out of worries.
At the same time, bathing in forest air produces more natural killer—NK cells(细胞) in our blood. Our body uses these NK cells to fight illness. One Japanese study showed a rise in the number and activity of these NK cells among people who take forest bathing. Plants and trees in forests can also send out something called phytoncides(植物杀菌素). This tree oil can not only protect plants and trees themselves, but also help people sleep well, lift mood and attention, bring joy and boost health.
Forest bathing needs repeated practice. Studies in England on green spaces showed that spending at least 120 minutes a week in nature helps with good health. It doesn't matter whether you break up the two hours into shorter walks in a local park filled with lots of trees or spend an afternoon in a forest.
Forest bathing shows a different way of life. You're walking through nature in a forest and taking your time. You're noticing feelings and starting more of a relaxing and meaningful life.

A. think only of the past moment B. make decisions more quickly

Travel is a wonderful experience that everyone should try. It is not just about visiting new places; it is more about learning and growing.
When we travel, we meet different people from various cultures. We can try local food, listen to different languages, and learn about their customs. This helps us become more open minded and understand the world better. For example, eating sushi in Japan or tacos in Mexico can teach us about their daily lives.
Travel also makes us brave and independent. We may need to find our way in a new city or communicate with people who speak a different language. These small challenges help us build confidence. When we solve problems on our own, we feel proud and become stronger.
Moreover, travel lets us relax and forget our daily stress. Seeing beautiful mountains, clear beaches, or ancient buildings can make our minds calm. It is a great way to take a break from schoolwork or family chores.
In short, travel is not just a hobby. It is a journey of discovery—discovering the world and discovering ourselves.

Last summer vacation, I went to Guilin with my elder sister. Guilin is famous for its beautiful mountains and rivers, and the trip gave me more than just beautiful memories.

A local man rowed the raft and told us stories about the river. I listened carefully and learned a lot about Guilin's history.
The next day, we visited a small village near Guilin. The villagers were very friendly. They taught us how to make rice noodles, a local specialty. At first, I did it badly, but with their help, I finally made delicious noodles. I also played games with the village kids. Although we spoke different dialects, we laughed and played happily.

Xu Xiake was an explorer of the late Ming Dynasty who travelled huge mountains and deep valleys in China. He was one of the greatest explorers in Chinese history.
Xu's travels were totally up to him and done on his own. He travelled so that his feet could feel strong winds beat his body; he travelled so that his feet could kiss the soil of the mountains.
After his death, Xu left behind his famous book, Xu Xiake's Travels, which provides meaningful materials to the Chinese geological research. It included a record of what he saw, heard and thought about during his travels and was a personal diary that was not published during his lifetime. It was said that Xu was a filial(孝顺的) son and the beginning purpose of his travel diary was to allow his mother to travel the world through his eyes at home. He followed the ancient teaching that says, “When one's parents are alive, one must not travel to far places.” For this reason, when his mother was still alive, he mainly travelled the south east half of the country and would not leave home for too long.
The most important part of his travels was his ten thousand mile journey to the south west. He travelled from Zhejiang to Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangxi, then Guizhou, and Yunnan. This journey took him four years and he wrote about ten times more than he did in the past. In the morning, he would be climbing the mountains and crossing rivers. At night, he would lay out a piece of paper and record his daily experiences beside an oil lamp.

Beijing, one of the largest cities in our country, is the place I want to visit.
There are several reasons why I would like to visit Beijing. First, Beijing is the capital of China, and has a history of more than 3,000 years. It has been the capital for many dynasties. Second, there are many historical buildings, such as the Great Wall and the Summer Palace. There are also some new stadiums, including the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube, which were built for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
I am really looking forward to going there and visiting all the wonderful places. At the same time, I hope Beijing will be more and more beautiful.
