(2025南通一中月考)Rock climbing has been a popular sport for a long time. It's still popular today, but now a lot of rock climbers are trying something new—ice climbing.
Ice climbing is like rock climbing. When you go rock climbing, you climb a mountain. When you go ice climbing, you climb ice. Here's one good thing about ice climbing. You can choose the place. People who want to try something simple can climb glaciers or small mountains. Those are usually pretty easy. People who want to try something more challenging can find a more difficult place. The hardest places are usually dangerous mountains and frozen waterfalls. Our Field Trips
Our school has a field trip every term. I love field trips because I like being outside. It is very interesting to visit different places and get close to nature.
__________________(上周), we had a trip to the apple farm. We ________________(乘公交去那儿). We ________________(看视频) and learnt how to grow apples first. The farmers showed us lots of interesting things ________________(来自大自然). They were so amazing. Then we helped the farmers pick apples from the trees. I took some apples home and shared them with my parents. My mother said that the apples were really sweet.
