Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess who loved to play by a clear pond in the forest. One day, when she was chasing her golden ball, it rolled into the water. A frog popped his head out and said, “I can retrieve your ball, but you must promise to let me live with you in the palace and eat from your plate.” The princess agreed hastily, thinking, “Who cares about a silly frog?”
The frog jumped in, fetched the ball, and hopped to the palace. The princess kept her promise but was embarrassed by her slimy guest. Her father, the king, said, “A promise is a promise. Treat him kindly.” Reluctantly, she let the frog stay.
That night, as the princess sat at dinner, the frog hopped beside her. “Feed me from your plate,” he demanded. She did, but secretly hated it. When she went to bed, the frog followed. “Let me sleep on your pillow,” he said. Though disgusted, she remembered her promise and her father's words. With a sigh of resignation, she gently picked up the frog and placed him on her pillow. Suddenly, magic sparkled, and the frog transformed into a handsome prince!

One rainy evening, Mia noticed a glowing cat with emerald eyes outside her window. Curiosity led her to follow it into an old bookstore downtown. As the clock struck twelve, the back wall vanished, revealing a grand library filled with floating books. The librarian, a wise owl wearing tiny glasses, explained, “This is a collection of stories humans have forgotten. When no one believes in them, they fade away.”
Mia borrowed a leatherbound book titled The Lonely Dragon. Suddenly, the pages glowed, and a dragon named Ember stepped out! The final riddle brought her to a starry desert where sand paintings came alive. Through these adventures, Mia learned kindness and courage mattered more than magic.
In the end, Mia restored Ember's crystal heart and saved his story from disappearing. The owl librarian smiled, “You've reminded us that every story holds truth, even forgotten ones.”

One cold night, a little Swallow flew to rest between the Prince's feet. Suddenly, a water drop fell on his head. “How strange! The sky is clear,” he thought. Looking up, he saw the Prince's sapphire eyes filled with tears.
“Why do you cry?” asked the Swallow.
“When I lived in the palace, I never knew pain. But now I see hungry children and lonely old people. Please take the ruby to the little boy coughing in the poor house,” said the Prince.
The kind Swallow did as asked. He carried the ruby to a dark room where a boy lay ill. The next day, the Prince said, “Now take my sapphire eyes to the writer starving in his attic.” Though sad to see the Prince blind, the Swallow obeyed.
Days grew colder, but the Swallow stayed. “Give my gold leaves to the poor,” the Prince begged. Piece by piece, the Swallow gave away the gold until the statue turned grey.
One morning, the Swallow whispered, “Goodbye, dear Prince,” and fell dead at his feet. At that moment, the Prince's lead heart broke into two pieces.

A_Western_Fairy_Tale_I_Like_Best
My favorite Western fairy tale is Cinderella. The story tells of a kind girl named Cinderella who is treated badly by her stepmother and stepsisters. One day, she attends a royal ball with the help of a fairy godmother, where she falls in love with the prince. When she leaves at midnight, she loses a glass slipper. The prince finds her through the slipper, and they live happily ever after.
From this story, I learn that kindness and patience will always be rewarded. No matter how hard life is, we should keep a good heart and believe in hope.
