With the development of the social economy, more and more advertisements appear in people’s lives.
On the one hand, advertisements help people have a better understanding of various products. Some advertisements add some spice to people’s lives. On the other hand, sometimes advertisements exaggerate the functions of goods and mislead consumers. Some advertisements even contain unhealthy content, which has a negative effect on teenagers’ mental health.
To sum up, advertisements have both good and bad sides. When faced with plentiful advertisements, we should keep a clear mind so as to be immune to their influence.

The Message From Media
With the advancement of technology, we can access information through diverse channels such as TV, the Internet and magazine.
The development of media provides people with convenient ways to learn about the world. But the problem also emerges along with it. The information released by the media has always been chosen for the purpose of catching more readers. When there are good news and bad news presented in front of the public, most of them will read the latter first, which leads the media to report the negative news first.
The information people receive will decide their idea about the people or the country. For the one who doesn't have the chance to communicate with another person or visit other countries, as a result, they will be easily influenced and have a wrong impression.
So, for the information we get from media, we should not believe all.

A Successful Sci-tech Festival
The school's yearly sci-tech festival was success- fully held last week, aiming to encourage students' active engagement with science and technology.
