动词不定式
1. 动词不定式的构成
动词不定式的基本形式是“to+动词原形”。动词不定式没有人称和数的变化,在句子中不能作谓语,但仍保留动词的语义特点,可以有自己的宾语和状语,如to get some exercise, to study hard。
2. 动词不定式的用法
动词不定式可以在句中作宾语、宾语补足语、目的状语等。
句法作用 位置 例子
作宾语 位于动词后作宾语,常见的该类动词有want, decide, plan, choose, manage等。 She chose to stay at home instead of going out. 她选择待在家里,而不是出去。
作宾语 补足语 位于动词宾语后作宾语补足语,常见的该类动词有ask, tell, encourage, invite, teach, expect等。 We expect our team to win the basketball match this time. 我们期待我们队赢得这次的篮球比赛。
拓展:动词不定式还可以和what, which, how, where, when等特殊疑问词连用。如:
I told her how to solve the problem. 我告诉过她如何解决这个问题。
句法作用 位置 例子
作目的 状语 位于句首或句尾表示目的。 To catch the train, he got up early. 为了赶火车,他早早地起床了。
Jim went to the supermarket to buy some fruit. 吉姆去超市买了一些水果。
3. 动词不定式的否定式
动词不定式的否定形式为“not+动词不定式”。如:
She decides not to go out tomorrow. 她决定明天不外出了。
My parents ask me not to play computer games for a long time. 我父母要求我不要长时间玩电脑游戏。
4. 不带to的动词不定式
有一些动词后用作宾语补足语的不定式通常不带to。这种动词主要有两类:
(1)感官动词,如see, hear, watch, feel, notice等。
I saw him run across the street just now. 我刚才看见他跑过了马路。
(2)使役动词,如let, make, have等。
The teacher made him spell the word. 老师让他拼写这个单词。
注意:动词不定式作help的宾语补足语时,不定式符号to可以省略,也可以不省略。如:Could you help me (to) carry the heavy box 你能帮我搬这个重箱子吗?

  Sports is an important part of my life, and basketball is my lifelong passion. I first fell in love with this sport when I watched a professional basketball match on TV with my dad five years ago. The players' quick moves, teamwork and the spirit of never giving up deeply impressed(给……留下深刻印象) me. Since then, I have been practising basketball every weekend with my friends in the playground.
Last term, our school held a basketball match. Our class
team spent two months preparing for it — we trained after school
every Tuesday and Thursday, practising passing, shooting and
defense(防御) over and over again. I was very nervous before the match because I was afraid of making mistakes during the game. However, my teammates encouraged me a lot, and our instructor told us, “Teamwork is the key to success. Trust each other and do your best.”
In the final match against Class 5, the scores were tied(持平) in the last minute. I got a chance to take a three-point shot. With my teammates' cheers(欢呼声), I calmed down and made the shot successfully.
We won the game. Everyone jumped with joy and hugged each other. This experience not only made me more confident but also taught me the true meaning of sportsmanship — respect, teamwork and perseverance(坚持不懈). Now, basketball is more than just a sport to me. It's a way to make friends and grow into a better person.
