1. although引导让步状语从句
although意为“虽然;尽管;即使”,一般情况下可与though互换,其引导的从句可位于主句前或主句后。although或though不能与but, however连用,但可与yet, still连用。如:
Although my grandfather is in his eighties, he is still in good health. 尽管我的爷爷八十多岁了,但他依然身体健朗。
2. until引导时间状语从句
拓展:until还可作介词,意为“直到……为止;到……时”,表示某个动作或状态一直持续到某个时间点。如:
Anna studied until 11:00 p.m. yesterday. 安娜昨天一直学习到晚上十一点。
3. so that引导目的状语从句
so that表示“以便;为了”时,引导目的状语从句,一般放在主句后,相当于in order that。从句中的谓语动词常与can, will, could, should等情态动词连用。如:

4. if引导条件状语从句(复习)
if意为“如果”,引导条件状语从句,描述主句动作发生的条件。
