Language Points
1.We attended a speech this morning. It was about why natural food is
good for our body.今天上午我们参加了一场演讲。它是关于为什么天然食物对我们的身体有益。
(1)attend v.，意为“参加；出席”。attend a speech 意为“参加演讲”。
My father attended a meeting last week.我父亲上周出席了一场会议。
(2)“It was about why natural food is good for our body.”这句话的结构为主系表。“why natural food is good for our body” 作介词 about 的宾语。
2.We learned how to search for information online in the science class
yesterday. The internet is really a useful tool, and it also creates such a magical world.我们在昨天的科学课上学习了如何在网上搜索信息。互联网真是一个有用的工具，创造了一个如此神奇的世界。
(1)learn how to do sth. 意为“学习如何做某事”，其中不定式结构 how to do sth. 在句中作 learn 的宾语。
We can learn how to solve this math problem from our math teacher.我们可以向我们的数学老师学习如何解答这道数学题。
(2) such a/an + adj. + n. 意为“如此 / 这么 / 这样的一个…… ”

3. We did an experiment in today’s chemistry class. I was shocked to see the color changing from purple to silver. 我们今天在化学课上做了一个实验。我很震惊地看到颜色从紫色变成银色。
(1)shocked，形容词，意为“震惊的；惊愕的”。
be shocked to do sth. 意为“对做某事感到震惊”。
I was quite shocked to see his crazy behavior.看到他疯狂的行为，我感到非常震惊。
(2)change from...to...从······变成······
The weather changes from cold to warm in spring.春天天气从寒冷变得温暖。
She changed from being shy to being outgoing after joining the club.
