How do people celebrate the festivals
The Chinese Lantern Festival is a traditional festival on the 15th day of the first lunar month, marking the end of the Spring Festival. People enjoy beautiful lanterns, guess riddles, eat sweet glutinous rice balls called yuanxiao or tangyuan, and spend happy time with their families.
Chinese Lantern Festival
It describes the period when someone moves from childhood to adulthood. It is held on the second Monday of January. All people who turned 20 in the past year are officially accepted as adults. Many young people dress nicely for this day. Young men put on formal suits and ties, while young women often wear kimonos. It is also a day for new adults to show their thanks to their parents.
Coming-of-Age Day
It is regarded as one of Brazil’s largest carnivals, attracting over two million people to the annual celebrations.Typically, the carnival takes place in late February or early March. At this time, the streets are full of parade-goers in vibrant costumes performing the samba, as well as huge, brightly decorated floats.

in the conversation (e.g., “Could I have the bill, please ” tells us that the speaker is a customer in a restaurant).
Learn the strategy.
