Today, I want to introduce Sichuan golden hair monkeys.
They have a special appearance. They have golden fur, blue face and big mouths. They are about 70 cm tall and weigh from 13 to 30 kilograms. They live in the high mountain forests in China and mainly eat leaves and fruits. They usually live in groups. The monkeys can live for about 25 years in the wild.
Sadly, they are endangered because people cut down many trees. This makes them lose their homes. Some people even kill them for their fur. This makes their number become smaller and smaller. Therefore, we need to stop these activities. If we don’t protect them, the beautiful animals might disappear. We can’t let these lovely monkeys leave us.
Let’s work together to protect such lovely animals, so that they can have a better life.

The monkeys can live for up to 25 years in the wild. They are smart and friendly to humans.
Sadly, they are in danger because people cut down a large number of trees, which makes them lose their homes. The food is also not enough for them to live on. What’s worse, some people kill them for their fur. As a result, their number drops sharply. It’s cruel of humans to do so. It’s our duty to protect them.
