Good morning, class! Today our group wants to talk about Qinghai Lake—the largest inland saltwater lake in China.
Located in Qinghai Province on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Qinghai Lake covers an area of 4,635 square kilometers and is 3,196 meters above sea level. The lake itself is much larger than many small lakes around it! All year round, the clear blue water shimmers under the sun—it’s like a bright sapphire inlaid on the plateau.
What makes Qinghai Lake even more special is that it is surrounded by vast green grasslands and snow-capped mountains. This gives travellers a much more peaceful and magnificent experience than visiting ordinary lakes. Qinghai Lake attracts millions of curious travellers each year.
If you want to experience the purest beauty of nature, Qinghai Lake is the best place to visit! Thank you for listening!
