Passage 1 I am proud of you--Green Shenzhen!
Shenzhen has been honored as “the National Forest City” since 2018, with 40% of the city covered with green plants. Walking in the city, you can see different kinds of green plants and beautiful flowers everywhere all the year round. And the total length of the greenways has reached 3,119 kilometers so far.
Shenzhen is also known as one of the garden cities in China, as there are thousands of big or small parks in the city, such as the forest parks, wetland parks, natural reserves and so on. These parks connect green plants with our living area. Therefore, it is famous as one of the most livable cities in China.
It is a pleasure for people to spend every weekend with their family or just sit or walk freely in the parks. In spring, people would like to take their kids to fly kites in the park.
