教学内容
大单元整体教学设计: 单元内容分析: 本单元,学生围绕 the benefits of hobbies,学习 10 篇语篇,了解青少年当中常见的一些兴趣爱好,理解爱好可以充实我们的生活,给我们带来快乐,同时通过爱好我们还可以增长知识、结交朋友。 Starting out: 几乎每个人都会有自己的爱好,想想自己的爱好是什么,为后续的学习做好准备。 Understanding ideas: 爱好是人们的一种精神追求,可以给人带来快乐。
Developing ideas: 在追求爱好的过程中我们可以丰富知识、增长见识,并可以运用所学去帮助他人。有着相同爱好的人可以加强交流、成为朋友。 Presenting ideas: 与有相同爱好的同学一起组件社团、设计活动计划,并号召更多的志同道合者加入进来。 语篇分析: 【What】 本课语篇属于“人与自我”主题范畴中“生活与学习”主题群,涉及子主题“丰富、充实、积极、向上的生活”和“ 自我认识、自我管理、自我提升”。本课主要由两段语篇内容构成,语篇 1 呈现了一则校园新闻的听力语篇,学生能够获取学校观鸟社团帮助受困雨燕事件脱困的 事件信息。语篇 2 是一段采访对话,介绍了胡念祖同学如何通过自己的爱好获取知识。 【Why】 通过学习语篇 1 ,学生从文本中了解、获取关键信息,同时培养爱心、同情心和帮助他人的意识。语篇 2 进一步深入了解胡念祖同学对于观鸟的热爱, 以及在追求爱好的过程中 可以丰富知识、增长见识。 【How】 语篇 1 是一则校园新闻报道的听力语篇,按照时间顺序,以 5W+H 六元素重点阐述客观事件。语篇 2 是一段采访对话,通过问答的形式介绍了胡念祖同学如何在追求爱好的过程中丰富知识,并用于实践活动。在语篇 2 中,通过 because, so等词汇表达因果关系。 学情分析: 【学生已知】 七年级的学生对新鲜事物保有一颗好奇心,对此话题非常感兴趣且学生整体对英语学习的兴趣浓厚,愿意用英文表达自己的想法,能用简单的词句介绍自己的爱好,也接触过一般现在时、一般过去时、一般将来时等时态,但语言水平参差不齐。 【学生未知】 语篇时态冗杂,句式丰富,学生的词汇量较匮乏,以致只能理解、加工表层信息,思维缺乏深度和广度。 【所遇挑战】 1. 运用 because, so, as a result 等表述 cause 和 effect。 2. 举例说明通过爱好可以获得知识,并对日常生活有所帮助。 【解决方法】
1. 设计分层任务,引导学生提取语篇中关键信息; 2. 合作探究,引导学生通过团队协作,加深对知识的理解和掌握,提升问题解决能力。教学重点: 1. Identify and understand the facts ofthe school news and the interview. 2. Pronounce /i:/ / / /i/ in words correctly. 教学难点: 1. Activity 3 Listen and complete Students listen again and complete the table. Activity 4 Watch, predict and complete 1. Students observe the pictures and predict the order in which the pictures are placed. 2. Students read the lines and try to fill in the blanks. Activity 5 Listen and check Students listen to the school news report, Observe students’ performance in participation. Observe whether students can utilize strategies to comb the main idea. Observe whether students can discover the order in which the pictures are placed, and utilize strategies to predict.

Purpose: The lead-in activities help to arouse the students’ interest and activate their background knowledge. First listening is designed to get the main idea and acquire the strategy of combing key information quickly. Purposes: To let the students think deeply about the theme, discuss about the Hu Nianzu’s hobby based on the discourse and perceive and describe the causes and effects with because, so and as a result.(应用实践类活动:描述与阐释、分析与判断、内化与运用)
4. Analyse and express Activity 10 Discuss and present Observe whether the
what you have learnt about knowledge from hobbies. 1. Students observe several pictures and try to describe the hobbies of the children in the pictures. 2. Then, students work in pairs and discuss the knowledge from different hobbies. students can use proper expressions to state opinions with the useful expressions.
Purposes: To help students state their own opinions on the topic, perceive the thematic meaning and consolidate the knowledge, which help to utilize learning strategies and skills to promote the transfer of acquired knowledge and skills in real authentic context.(迁移创新类活动:想象与创造)
Homework Must: Make a dialogue with partners about the knowledge from different hobbies. Can: Make a survey among friends about their hobbies and the knowledge they learnt from hobbies, then make a report in the next class.
