Introduction and Origin
Grain Rain is the sixth solar term of the 24 solar terms and the last solar term in spring. It usually falls on April 19th, 20th or 21st each year.
谷雨是二十四节气中的第六个节气，也是春季的最后一个节气。谷雨通常在每年的4月19日、20日或21日。
Grain Rain originates from the old saying "Rain brings about the growth of hundreds of grains". This shows that this period of rainfall is extremely important for the growth of crops.
谷雨源于古语“雨生百谷”。这说明这段时期的降雨对农作物的生长极为重要。
