第一节 (满分 15 分)
My Experience of Environmental Protection
Last summer, I joined a community cleanup at a nearby riverbank. Armed with gloves
and bags, my classmates and I spent the morning collecting plastic bottles, wrappers, and other
litter that polluted the water and harmed wildlife. Though the work was tiring under the hot sun,
seeing the cleared bank and cleaner water filled us with pride.
This experience deeply influenced me. It made me realize that even small individual
actions can create positive change. Since then, I have become more conscious of reducing
waste, reusing items, and encouraging others to protect our environment.
第二节 (满分 25分)
Paragraph 1:
When I looked at the mess, an idea came to me. Deliberately, I began to clean. I remembered
答案第 1页,共 2页
how Kim always took care of everything she owned and decided to do the same. I started by
tidying up my desk and sorting through the scraps of paper. I took back the book I had
carelessly placed on her desk. I picked up the socks and shirts scattered around and I made my
bed. I even put some pencils into my pencil holder. Then, I swept the floor, including her side.
I got so absorbed into the cleaning that I didn’t even notice that Kim had come out from under
the covers. She was watching my every move in surprise, her tears dried and her expression full
of disbelief. When I looked up and met Kim’s eyes, she smiled at me and said in a grateful
voice “Thanks.”
Paragraph 2:
After that evening, we lived peacefully through nice little actions. I woke up one morning to
find my desk already tidied — Kim had done it silently. In return, I began taking the time to
organize my things quietly, just to show her I was willing to meet her halfway. These small
gestures became our new way of communicating. There was a silent understanding between us.
The room still wasn’t perfect, and we still had our minor disagreements, but we had learned to
live with each other’s differences. She taught me discipline; I taught her patience. She laughed
at my “chaotic genius,” and I teased her about her “robot-like” habits. We came to realize that
living together wasn’t about who was neat or messy, right or wrong. It was about
understanding, helping, and holding on to each other, even when things got messy. And
sometimes, that’s enough.

M: Julie, when was your first experience with teaching
W: It was when I studied at Starlight Park Elementary School. I was good at reading, so my
teacher, Miss Berry, asked me to work with some of the other students.
M: Did you enjoy teaching them
W: Yes. I found it fun.
M: No wonder. You dreamt of becoming a teacher then, right
W: Yeah. It was my dream then. But after middle school, I changed my mind and wanted to be
a good lawyer like my brother.
M: Really What made you decide to become a teacher again

M: Yes, and it couldn’t be better. Mandy, my instructor, was once a famous drama actress. I

M: You may find it unbelievable. I even got a chance to perform in the local theatre. That was
the most amazing part.
W: Wow! That is so exciting! Where did you learn about the camp
M: My friend Mike went to it last year. He really enjoyed his time there, so he recommended it
to me.

W: Jason, could you give me some tips on how to improve my French
M: Certainly. I think the best way is to surround yourself with French.
W: You mean I have to move to a French-speaking country
M: Of course not. You can read French newspapers, listen to French radio programs and keep a
diary in French.
W: Got it. Anything else
M: You can also find someone to study with you just like I do. I often practice French with my
classmate Karen. It’s very helpful.
W: That sounds like a good plan. By the way, do you think it’s useful to take an online French
course
M: It certainly helps. But it can be costly.
W: In that case, I’m afraid I can’t afford it.
M: Well, besides the above methods, you should learn about French culture. It is said that
culture and language are inseparable. It’s fun and useful.
W: OK. I’ll do that. Can you recommend some books about French culture
M: No problem. Let me check my book list.
Text 10
M: Good morning, everyone. Today I’d like to talk about my home. I live with my family in
the southern downtown part of Helsinki. Being far from the sea, we are surrounded by beautiful
modern buildings, characteristic cafes, cinemas, and fancy shops. Our lovely apartment has
four rooms, big windows, and high ceilings. We moved in last July after it had gone through a
full makeover. The makeover project took a year and almost everything was redone. So it was a
long wait. My favorite part of our apartment is my bedroom because I’ve put the most effort

into designing it. Besides, our kitchen is great although there are still many unfinished corners
in it. Moreover, we bought some new furniture for the move and my most satisfying buy is a
Danish classic chair from Carl Hansen & S.My next big task will be choosing a new sofa and a
table for the living room. I’ve been trying to find a perfect sofa for a month! That’s all about
where I live. If you have time, come for coffee sometime.
