■写作项目——Write a story about aliens　
本单元的写作任务是基于教材所给的漫画提示写一个有关外星人的故事，写作的核心在于故事情节的打造。为了避免平铺直叙带来的枯燥乏味，故事情节的安排需“一波三折”。故事的发展应有高潮(climax)，高潮有时候是故事情节中的“危机”点，有时候是故事发展的转折点。

“一波三折”式故事情节的实现可采用以下几条途径：
(一)制造外部冲突
设置冲突场景，给情节发展增加障碍或挑战，有助于将故事情节推上顶峰。
1．增加意外情节
The next minute, the porridge boiled over and put out the fire. Jenna panicked. Thankfully, Jeff stayed calm and turned off the gas quickly. But the stove was a mess.(发生意外，面临挑战→情节线开始上升)
2．设置危急场景
The rain had caused the river to rise and the car was half submerged (淹没), trapped against a tree, and the passenger seat was underwater. Jonda was filled with a sense of dread.(情况危急，刻不容缓→情节发展到顶峰)
3．制造角色冲突
①Somehow one of teammates began complaining about Bryce. Feeling frustrated and aggrieved, Bryce argued that he just tried to get scores.(相互指责→产生不满情绪，矛盾升级)

(四)故事的结局
