Ⅳ、语法 —— 过去进行时态
定义：表示过去某一时刻或某一段时间内正在进行的动作。
谓语动词形式：was/were + 动词 - ing 形式
具体用法：
过去某一时刻正在进行的动作，常用时间点：at + 具体时间点，如 at 8 o'clock yesterday, at that time, then。如：What were you doing at this time yesterday
I was playing the piano.
过去某一段时间内持续进行的动作，常用时间段：from... to...，all day yesterday。
如：The workers were building a new bridge these days.
一个动作发生时，另一个动作正在进行，常用 when 和 while 引导。
如：When I got home from school yesterday, my mom was cooking.
While we were having an English class, a bird flew into the classroom through the window.
两个过去动作同时进行，常用 while 引导。
如：While My mother was watching TV, my father was reading a newspaper.
