故选A。
On the way,we see many beautiful flowers"(在路上,我们看到许多美丽的花)形成逻辑连贯——正是因为步行而非乘车,才有机会欣赏沿途风景。
根据后文"we can read stories...and share our ideas"(我们可以读故事……

根据"of beautiful pictures"(……

Table Manners Around the World
When you travel to different countries, knowing their specific table manners can help you avoid embarrassing moments and feel more comfortable.Every culture has its own unique unwritten rules about dining, and overlooking these details might accidentally leave a bad impression on your hosts or new friends. Here are some useful tips for three popular destinations:
Mexico
Always keep your hands above the table during the meal. It's considered impolite to rest them under the table.
You should wait for the host to take the first bite before you begin eating, this shows respect for their effort in preparing the meal.
It's common and friendly to share food with others at the table, which is a warm way to bond with family and gusts.
India
Use only your right hand to eat.The left hand is traditionally considered unclean for dining,as it's used for personal hygiene tasks.
Do not leave food on your plate. It's polite to finish everything on your dish to show that you enjoyed the meal.
Say "thank you" after the meal, but don't say it while eating,as this can be seen as interrupting (打断)the flow of the meal and disturbing others at the table.
Canada
Cut your food into small pieces before eating, which makes it easier to chew and shows that you are a thoughtful diner.
It's OK to ask for more food if you are still hungry, hosts in Canada will usually feel happy that you enjoy their cooking.
Put your napkin on your lap when you sit down, and remember to place it on your chair if you need to leave the table during the meal.

People often call dogs "man's best friends".Now,a study shows why they are really our best friends.Scientists at UCLA Medical Center in California say dogs can help people feel better and stay healthy.
In the study, scientists watched 76 patients with heart problems. They put the patients into three groups. One group got visits from people who brought dogs.Another group got visits from people without dogs. The last group had no visitors at all.The scientists wrote down how the patients felt before, during, and after the visits.
The scientists found that patients who got visits from people with dogs felt better. They were 24 percent less scared than before. The group that got only people's visits felt 10 percent less scared. The group without visitors felt the most scared. After just 12 minutes with the dogs, the patients' hearts worked better.
The scientists showed the study to the American Heart Association and the Pet Care Trust Foundation paid for the study. The dogs used in the study were therapy (治疗) dogs.Therapy dogs were trained to be calm and kind to patients. Some of the dogs were big and some were small.
