第二章 冠词
一、冠词的含义
虚词，位于名词前，修饰、限制、说明其含义。
二、冠词的分类
(一) 不定冠词：a/an
(二) 定冠词：the
(三) 零冠词：/
三、不定冠词:a/an
(一) 含义:表示"一个"，泛指不确定的东西
(单数可数名词前一定要加a、an表示其单数意义)
(二) a、an的区别
1. a+辅音发音的单词 a pen
an+元音发音的单词 an apple
2. 一般以a,e,i,o,u 开头的单词都发元音但有特例:
①e：European(欧洲的;欧洲人) a European(一个欧洲人)
②o：one (一) a one-year-old girl(一个一岁的女孩)
③u： 读u用a； a university(一所大学)
不读u用an； an umbrella(一把雨伞)
④ hour(小时) an hour(一个小时)
honest(诚实的) an honest man(一个诚实的男人)
这两个单词里的h不发音
1. My parents often tell me to be______honest boy today and______useful man tomorrow.

(三) a、an的用法
1. a/an+抽象名词，使其具体化 a big surprise一个大惊喜
2. a/an+序数词，表示"又一"
a second time (已有一次) a third time(已有两次)
3. 固定搭配
have a rest/take a break休息一下 take a look/have a look 看一看 in a word总而言之 in a hurry匆匆忙忙
have a good time 玩得开心
四、定冠词the
(一) 含义：表示“这”“那”，表特指
(二) 用法
(1) 前面提到的人或物，第二次出现用the I have a pen. The pen is blue.
(2) the+某些形容词表示“某类人” poor/rich/old/young/sick
(3) the+形副最高级(est结尾) the oldest 最老的
(4) the+序数词 the first
(5) the+独一无二的事物
earth地球 sun太阳 sky天空 moon月亮 world世界
(6) the+西洋乐器 play the piano/guitar/violin小提琴
(7) the+方位名词
on the left在左边 on the right在右边
(8) the+姓氏复数(在后面加s)表示“一家人"或“夫妇"
the Greens 格林一家 the Blacks布莱克家
(9) the+年代
in the 1990s 在20世纪90年代
in the 1990 在1990年
(10) the+地理名词(江河湖海名称)
the Yellow River 黄河
(11) 固定搭配
the same as与...一样

at the age of+数字 在...岁时
(12)the+身体某些部位
hit sb. on the head 打某人的头

五、零冠词 /
(一) 含义:有些名词前不用冠词
(二) 用法
(1) 学科、语言前不用冠词 I like English.
(2) 泛指的复数和不可数名词前
I like reading books.
I want to drink water.
(3) 专有名词前(国家名、人名、地名)
Beijing is the capital of China.北京是中国的首都。
(4) 季节、月份星期前 I love Sunday.
(5) 球类、棋牌类运动play basketball 打篮球 play chess 下象棋
(6) 一日三餐前
I have lunch. 我吃午饭。
若前面加了修饰则指具体的某一餐
I have a good lunch.我吃了一顿丰盛的午餐。
(7) 名词前已经有限制了 my book
(8) by (乘坐...) +交通工具 by train坐火车
(9)表官衔、职位的名词前
We made him monitor我选做班长.
(10)固定搭配
go to school去上学 go to the school去学校
go to hospital看医生 go to the hospital 去医院
after school放学 after class 下课
