Q1--It is a typhoon (or hurricane)/a storm surge/flood caused by a typhoon.(a severe stoem with huge waves)
Q2--It usually happens in summer or early autumn (from June to November in the Northern Hemisphere). It often happens in coastal areas, such as Southeast China, the soutneasern US, or Southeast Asia.
Q3--It makes me feel scared/worried/shocked. It's very dangerous./It makes me feel terrified and upsey. I feel sorry for the people living there, because the disaster can destroy their homes and hurt them.
BIG Question--Natural disasters have huge negative impacts on our lives.
1.Safety & Health: They can hurt or even kill people, and spread diseases after the disaster.
2.Property & Homes: They destroy houses, buildings and roads, making many people homeless.
3.Daily Life: They cut off power, water and traffic, stopping people from working and going to school.
4.Economy: They cause huge economic losses to cities and countries.
