Q1--It was a stormy and freezing day with heavy snow. The wind was blowing hard, and the snow was coming down so fast that it was hard to see anything.
Q2--I was leaving my house to go to school when the snowstorm hit.
Q3--I heard the wind howling and saw the snow piling up quickly. My hands and face felt freezing cold. I had to walk slowly because the road was icy.
Q4--The snow caused heavy traffic, so I was late for school. Later that day, I even caught a cold.
Last Friday, I had a really bad day. While I was having breakfast with my younger sister, the sky was growing darker and darker. I heard thunder and saw lightning. When I left the house, it started to snow heavily. The wind was so strong that I could barely keep my umbrella open. The weather was freezing cold, and my hands and face turned red right away.
The heavy snow caused heavy traffic on the road. All the cars were moving very slowly, so I decided to walk instead. But the snow was too thick, and the road was slippery, so I had to walk carefully. It was also too dark to see clearly, so I almost tripped a few times. By the time I got to school, I was 40 minutes late. My shoes and socks were all wet, and I felt terrible.
To make things worse, I caught a cold that night. I had a fever and a bad cough. What a terrible day I had because of the bad weather!
写作小技巧
把while/when/by the time这些时间词用起来,让故事更有顺序感。
把方框里的词(stormy/freezing/heavy snow/rainy)和短语(caused heavy traffic/had to walk slowly/too dark to see/caught a cold)都自然地放进句子里,就可以拿高分啦。

Title: The Night We Were Snowed In
Good morning, everyone. Today I want to tell you about a scary snowstorm we had last winter.
It started on a quiet evening. My parents were watching TV, my brother was doing homework, and I was looking out of the window. It was snowing heavily, and everything outside was turning white.
Suddenly, the lights went out. The whole house was dark. My dad checked the front drro, but the snow had blocked it completely. Mom lit candles and made hot chocolate to keep us warm.
We huddled under blamkets all night, listening to the wind howl. The next morning, the storm stopped. Our neighbor came over to help dig us out.
We were cold and tired, but we felt lucky to be safe. That night taught us that family and neighbours can help us get through even the hardest time.
Thank you!
