The Changing City I Live In
By Li Hua
Great changes have taken place in my city over the past ten years. The most significant change is the rapid development of the subway system.
In the past, I had to take a long time to go to school by bus because of traffic jams. But now, the subway connects almost every corner of the city. It is much more convenient and never late. I can go to the city library or the central park in just 20 minutes. This has made my life more efficient and given me more time to study.
However, while we develop transportation, I suggest we should plant more trees around the subway stations to protect the environment. Let's build a green and modern city together.
