Do you know what it’s like to be a wildlife photographer (摄影师) Roxy shares something about her work.
It’s a new day. Roxy starts her work with her helper in a forest. Today her job is to look for jaguars (美洲豹) and take pictures of them. It’s not easy. She has to wait and watch quietly.
Roxy loves her job and would like to spend time waiting. Her patience (耐心) leads to good outcomes. She sees a jaguar sleeping in a tree. But it looks like the jaguar won’t open its eyes soon. The jaguar is very beautiful while it’s sleeping, but it’s not the best picture for Roxy. So Roxy and her helper keep looking for more jaguars instead of waiting.

The Nile crocodile (鳄) lives in and near African rivers. It is a very large animal. It can grow up to 6 meters long. Its body is green and brown and it has got a very big mouth. Most of the Nile crocodiles can live to be about 70 years old in the wild. Some can even live up to 100 years.
The Nile crocodiles spend most of the day on the bank of the river in the sun without moving. At night, they go back into the water to find food. They are excellent swimmers. They can swim as fast as 30 km/h and they can stay up to 30 minutes under water.
As meat caters, the Nile crocodiles eat birds, fish and other crocodiles and so on. Sometimes they even eat people. A person washing clothes by the river might just look like a delicious meal for them. Hundreds of people die because of them each year.
