Amy and Simon are talking about international charities. Listen to their conversation and answer the following questions.

Operation Smile.
In 1982.
It provides free operations and medical care for children born with lip problems.
Amy: Do you know any important charities
Simon: Yes. For example, I’ve heard of Operation Smile. It was founded in
1982. There are about 6,000 medical volunteers in this organization.
Amy: So what do they do
Simon: Millions of children were born with lip problems. It’s difficult for
them to breathe, eat and speak. Operation Smile provides them with
free operations and medical care.
Amy: That’s great!
Simon: It is. Thanks to Operation Smile, every year, lots of children are
helped and given a new life.

Version 1: I’d like to volunteer for WWF. I love animals and want to help protect their living places from being destroyed.
Version 2: I want to volunteer for Orbis. I hope to help more people with eye problems get better vision and a better life.
Version 3: I’d like to volunteer for Doctors Without Borders. I want to offer medical help to people in crisis-hit areas and ease their pain.
Version 4: I’d like to volunteer for Save the Children. I hope to support poor children and help build a better life for them.
