Here’s a writing sample. Why not have a look?
As a student, dining hall manners are important in our daily life and I am going to give you some suggestions.
First, wait patiently enough to let everyone get their turn. Don’t jump the line. Then, take enough food to feel full and don’t take too much. Also, remember to eat slowly. Don’t eat too fast. Moreover, don’t blow on your food if it is too hot. Wait a few minutes for it to cool off. Most importantly, make sure the table is clean enough for others to use after you finish. Remember, it’s impolite and dangerous to walk too fast in case you run into someone.
If you are dining with your classmates, try to keep your voice down so that you won’t disturb others who are eating. When you are about to leave, carry your things and leftover food to the recycling area instead of leaving them on the table.
Following these dining hall manners will help keep the dining environment clean, safe and pleasant for everyone. I hope these tips will help you behave politely in the dining hall.
