In our life, we may face all kinds of difficulties. However, as long as we keep trying and never give up, we
will solve them finally. I truly believe perseverance is the key to success.
I used to be poor at running. I felt worried when I had to take the running test. I wanted to give up at first,
but my teacher encouraged me to keep on. So I made a decision to practice running every day after school.
Even when I felt tired, I still told myself not to stop. Little by little, I ran faster and faster. In the end, I passed
the test successfully.
From this experience, I learn that perseverance means keeping trying whenever we meet difficulties. It
helps us grow into a better person and makes us brave enough to face challenges.
Here is my advice. First, believe in ourselves and never fear difficulties. Second, set small goals and keep
working hard. Last, when we want to give up, just remember: nothing is impossible for a willing heart.
If we stick to our dreams and keep moving on, we will succeed sooner or later.

4．评分时，应考虑拼写和标点符号的使用。
5．如书写较差，影响对写作内容的理解，将分数降低一个档次。
二、各档次的给分范围和要求：
第五档（很好）：（17－20 分）
—覆盖所有要点，内容充实
—语法结构多样，词汇丰富
—语法结构和词汇应用准确，虽有个别错误，但为使用较复杂结构或词汇所致；显示出较强的语言运用
能力
—有效运用了连接成分，全文结构紧凑
—达到了预期的写作目的
第四档（好）：（13－16 分）
—覆盖所有要点，内容较充实
—应用的语法结构和词汇能满足写作的要求
—语法结构和词汇应用基本准确，少许错误主要是因尝试运用较复杂语法结构或词汇所致
—运用了一些语句间的连接成分，全文结构紧凑
—基本达到了预期的写作目的
第三档（一般）：（9－12 分）
—基本覆盖所有要点，内容基本充实
—应用的语法结构和词汇能基本满足写作的要求
—有一些语法结构或词汇方面的错误，但不影响理解
—运用了简单的连接成分，全文内容基本连贯
—尚能达到预期的写作目的
第二档（较差）：（5－8 分）
—未覆盖所有要点，内容不够充实
—语法结构单调，词汇较贫乏
—有一些语法结构或词汇方面的错误，影响对写作内容的理解
—较少使用语句间的连接成分，内容缺少连贯性
—未能将信息清楚地传达给读者
第一档（差）：（0－4 分）
—要点不清晰，内容不充实，或严重离题
—语法结构单调，词汇贫乏，词不达意
—通篇语法或词汇错误，句子支离破碎
—有效信息很少或几乎没有有效信息初四英语试题
1.本试卷共8页，计90分。考试时间100分钟。
2请清点试卷，然后将你的信总填涂在答题纸上，项目填写要清楚。
3将选择题答案用2B铅笔涂在答题纸选择区域内对应题目的标号上，将非选择题答案用黑色签字笔填
