A:Robert wants to know more about manners in China. He has found an article about how teachers in China are highly respected. Read it and answer the questions below.
Standing in the snow to wait for Master Cheng respectfully
On a cold winter day, two students paid a visit to Master Cheng, a well-known teacher in the Song Dynasty. The master was sleeping when they arrived. The two students were too polite to wake him up, so they waited outside the house patiently. While they were waiting, it began to snow and the snow was getting heavier. When the master woke up, he was moved to see the two students waiting in the deep snow.
1 Why didn’t the students go into Master Cheng’s house when they arrived
2 How do you show your teacher your thanks and respect
Because Master Cheng was sleeping when they arrived, and the two students were too polite to wake him up, so they waited outside the house patiently.
I can show my thanks and respect to my teacher by listening carefully in class, finishing my homework on time, and greeting my teacher politely when I meet him/her.

dinner. Instead, you show your thanks by inviting them to dinner next
