二、过去分词作定语的意义

过去分词(短语)是动词的一种非限定形式，在句子中可以作表语、定语、宾语补足语和状语。过去分词作定语的具体意义如下：
1．不及物动词的过去分词作定语，只表示动作已完成，不表示被动意义。
2．及物动词的过去分词作定语，表示被动或完成的意思。
非谓语动词作定语的用法区别
非谓语动词 意义
过去分词 表示被动或完成
现在分词 表示主动或进行
现在分词的被动形式 表示被动和进行
动词不定式 表示将要发生的动作
例如：
①Don't use words，phrases or expressions known only to people with specific knowledge.
不要使用那些只有掌握专门知识的人才懂的单词、短语或表达。
②We saw abandoned farms built more than 100 years ago.
我们看到了建于100多年前的废弃农场。
