现在进行时的被动语态
现在进行时的被动语态表示现在或现阶段正在进行或发生的被动动作，强调主语是动作的承受者。
一、现在进行时的被动语态的构成
[感知]
1．The elderly residents in care homes in London are being given cats to look after to stop them from feeling lonely.
伦敦的养老院正提供猫让老人养，以缓解他们的孤独感。
2．The job was for a fixed term and the contract is not being renewed.
这个工作有固定期限，而且合同不能续签。
3．Are the babies being taken care of by this nurse
这些婴儿正由这名护士照看吗？
4．Who is being trained for the coming English speech contest
谁正在为即将举行的英语演讲比赛接受训练？

二、现在进行时的被动语态的用法
[感知]
1．(2023·全国甲卷)As grizzly bears expand their range into places where they haven't been seen in a century or more，they're increasingly being sighted by humans.
随着灰熊的活动范围扩大到一个多世纪以来从未出现过的地方，它们越来越多地被人看到。
2．The fitness equipment in the park is always being damaged by some naughty boys.
公园里的健身器材总是被一些调皮的男孩破坏。
3．The exchanged program is being discussed and arranged by the student union and it will start up next month.
这个交换生项目正在学生会的讨论和安排之中。该项目将在下个月启动。
[归纳]
1．表示说话时正在进行的被动动作。
2．表示现阶段正在进行的被动动作(说话时不一定在进行)。
3．表示经常性的被动行为，常和always、constantly、frequently等表示频率的副词连用。这类用法常常带有说话者主观上的赞扬或厌恶的感彩。
4．表示按计划或安排，主语将要承受的动作。

三、使用现在进行时的被动语态应注意的问题
[感知]
1．The children are being taken good care of by their grandmother.
孩子们正由他们的祖母好好照看着。
2．A young woman who thought the note belonged to me ran after me and gave it to me.
一位年轻女子以为这张纸币是我的，就追上来把它给了我。
3．The bridge is under construction.
＝The bridge is being constructed.
这座桥正在建设之中。
[归纳]
1．一些动词短语如take care of、look after、talk about、think of 等，用于现在进行时的被动语态时，其介词不可省略。
2．非延续性动词，表示存在意义、所属关系、静态特征的动词以及系动词等，不用于现在进行时的被动语态。
3．“be(am/is/are)＋under/in＋n.”结构，表示“在……中”，在语意上有被动的含义。有时可相当于现在进行时的被动语态。
