对艺术作品的描写多属于说明文范畴，来源于我们对某一件艺术作品的观察和了解，须用客观、精练的语言将其创作背景、特点以及意义表达出来。
介绍艺术作品的说明文主要分为三个部分：
1．开头——简明扼要地描述艺术作品的背景信息(创作或形成的时间、地点等)；
2．主体——详细地介绍艺术作品的主要特点及意义；
3．结尾——综合评价。
