People used to pick fruit from trees to survive. However, as the population increased, there was
not enough food to go around, and people were hungry, not knowing what to do.
Fuxi, as the leader of his people, was responsible, hard-working and smart. He tried
to think of ways to solve the problem.He noticed that there were fish in the sea,which might be good
for people to eat. But it was hard to catch them. One day, Fuxi got inspiration from a spider web.
He used vines and knitted(编织) them into a fishing net to catch fish.
