Last Friday started terribly. First, my alarm clock didn't go off, so I woke up late and had to rush to the bus stop.
I had a test that morning, so I was reviewing my notes while I was waiting for my bus. All of a sudden, thunder rolled across the sky. Then it started to pour. The wind was too strong for me to use my umbrella!
“ 突然 ”，相当于suddenly
When I finally reached my classroom, out of breath, my teacher was already waiting at the door. Many others were also late because of the rainstorm. As a result, she said we weren't having a test after all! What luck on my unlucky day!
By the time the bus came, I was cold and wet. I was still worrying about the test when the bus driver said that we would be late. There was a landslide along our usual road.

A bad day
Last Wednesday, I had a really bad day. It was stomy.
The wind blew outside, and the heavy rain hit the window loudly.
I woke up late because my alarm clock didn't go off.
I rushed to catch the bus, but it left just as I arrived.
So I had to walk to school in the rain. My shoes and uniform got completely wet. When I finally got to school, I found I left my math homework at home.
My teacher was angry and asked me to finish it after class. I felt cold and upset all day. All I wanted was that the day would end soon. By evening, I even caught a slight cold. What an unlucky day!
Last Friday , I had a really bad day . While I was having breakfast with my younger sister , the sky was growing darker and darker . I heard thunder and saw lightning .When I left the house , it was raining heavily and almost too dark to see ! I couldn ' t use my umbrella because the wind was so strong . It was a dangerous thunderstorm（雷雨） .
Even though I had my raincoat on , I still got very wet ! I got to the school bus stop ,but the bus had broken down ! So I had to walk to school . By the time I got there , I was wet all over and very late . My teacher smiled and said ," Don ' t worry , we will learn swimming in PE class today anyway !"
