一、动词的-ing形式作主语的几种情况
[感知]
1．(2023·全国甲卷)Putting electric fencing around chicken houses and other farm animal quarters is also highly effective at getting grizzlies away.
在鸡舍和其他农场动物饲养区周围设置电围栏也能有效地赶走灰熊。
2．It is no use being upset when meeting problems.

[归纳]
1．动词的-ing形式作主语通常表示一般性、习惯性的动作，且谓语动词一般用单数。
2．动词的-ing形式作主语，且主语较长时，为了平衡句子结构，通常用it作形式主语。常见句式：
3．动名词可以用于“There be”结构中，即“There is no＋动词-ing形式＋其他”。
4．动词的-ing形式的否定形式直接在动词的-ing形式前面加not。
动词的-ing形式作主语，如果主语只有一个动作时，谓语动词要用第三人称单数形式。
