一、动词不定式作表语
[感知]
1．(2023·全国甲卷)There was once a town in the heart of America，where all life seemed to enjoy peaceful co-existence with its surroundings.

[归纳]
1．动词不定式放在be、become、sound、taste、seem、appear等系动词后面常用来表示将来的动作或起解释说明的作用，其主语常常是wish、idea、task、purpose、duty、job、goal、aim、way等表示意向、打算、计划的词及what引导的主语从句等。
2．动词不定式作表语时也常用来表示预计要发生的动作，或表示未来的可能性或假设。

二、动词-ing形式作表语

徒步旅行对青少年的身心是一项挑战。
[归纳]
1．动词-ing形式作表语，相当于形容词，用于说明主语的性质、特征等。
2．动词-ing形式作表语，多表示抽象性或习惯性的动作，一般说明主语的内容，即主语等同于表语，两者可互换位置。
动词不定式与动词-ing形式作表语的区别
His job is to paint the walls within two hours.
他的工作是在两个小时内粉刷墙壁。(目前要做的事情，并不是他日常的工作)
His job is painting walls.
他的工作是粉刷墙壁。(这是他日常的工作)

三、动词-ed形式作表语
[感知]

由于陷入了沉思，他没有听到铃声。
[归纳]
1．动词-ed形式可放在系动词be、get、feel、remain、seem、look、become等后面作表语，表示主语所处的状态，并不表示完成或被动之意。
2．动词-ed形式作表语多表示人自身的感觉、感受或事物自身的状态，意为“感到……的”。
3．有些过去分词短语，如be lost(迷路)；be seated(坐)；be hidden(躲)；be lost/absorbed in(沉溺于)；be dressed in(穿着)；be tired of(厌烦)，不强调被动而重在描述主语的状态。
动词-ed形式作表语与被动语态的区别
过去分词作表语 相当于形容词，表示性质或状态
被动语态 表示具体的动作，主语与谓语之间是被动关系
The glass plate is broken.(表语)
玻璃板破了。
The glass plate was broken by him.(被动语态)
玻璃板被他打破了。
