Lucy Brown, aged 12, puts smiles on the faces of kids and keeps them very warm, too. She sews blankets (缝纫毯子) for children who are dealing with challenges such as being sick, feeling unhappy, or losing a family member.
Lucy got the idea four years ago. She had just learned to sew and made a blanket as a gift for her friend’s birthday. “She loved it,” Lucy says.“ So, I thought maybe other kids might need that kind of love.”
