It’s important for us to keep safe when we go to school or come back home from school. I think every student should know about and follow the traffic (交通) rules. Here are some traffic rules in China.
First, traffic keeps on the right side of the road (路). So we have to look left first and then look right when crossing the road.
Second, at the crossing, there are some traffic lights. If the lights are green, it means “go” and we can cross the road quickly. If the lights are red or yellow, we have to stop and wait. It’s dangerous to try to cross the road when the lights are red or yellow.
