ⅡTeaching Principles(说教学理念)

My teaching plan is guided by New English Curriculum Standard, which emphasizes the development of students’ core competence in English.I also adopt the concept of Deep Learning, which encourages students to engage in challenging learning tasks through participation and experience, construct knowledge structures, and apply their knowledge to new situations.Furthermore, I take into account, the Zone of Proximal Development, which suggests that teachers should provide scaffolding to help students reach their potential development level.

ⅢAnalysis of the Teaching Material说教材

Let’s move on to the second part, analysis of the teaching material. First , overview of the unit and the analysis of the text. The theme of this unit is 话题, which belongs to 主题(e.g.Man in Society) with thematic clusters: ……(e.g.being history, society and culture). As we can see, this unit consists of many different types of text.The whole unit can be summarized into one big idea and three small ones.The big idea is ……, which symbolizes…….On this basis, students can ……阐述大观念对核心素养的培养价值. As for the three small ideas, Idea NO.1 is ……Idea NO.2 is……Idea NO.3 is……(选择跟文本有关系的小观念来阐释).This particular lesson comes from Idea No.1 and serves as ……

ⅣAnalysis of the students说学情
模板:
I'd like to analyze my students from their strengths and weaknesses.
The students in Senior 数字 have acquired basic vocabulary and background information about 主题. Some of them have acquired the basic 具体技能(e.g.reading) strategy, such as ……(e.g.skimming and scanning and think of things independently)and are willing to share their ideas with others.
However, they still need help in expressing their opinions in English. Moreover, they may find it hard to think deeply to figure out the profound connotations, and they lack the ability to make an overall analysis of the text.

ⅤTeaching Objectives说教学目标

Based on the analysis of teaching material and students, next is the teaching objectives.
By the end of the lesson,students will be able to: (1)……(e.g.figure out the reasons for festival celebrations);(2)……(3)……;(4) …….
So the objectives one and three are based on the language ability aspect and objective two is based on the learning ability, and the fourth one is to cultivate students’ thinking capacity and cultural awareness, so the learning objectives are also of teaching key points and teaching difficult points.
