Dear Editor,
I’m writing to share my life-changing experience with you.Like most teenagers,I was addicted to computer games as well. However, as time went on, the negative impacts of excessive gaming began to surface.Most worrying, I could’t sleep well, which already affected my academic performance. Moreover, my physical health was at risk. Sitting for long periods while gaming caused me to gain weight and experience back and neck pain. My eyes were constantly strained from staring at the bright screen.
Realizing the severity of the situation, I knew I had to make a change. I started by setting strict time limits for gaming. I allocated specific hours during the weekend for playing, ensuring that it didn't affect my schoolwork. Sometimes I played basketball with my old friend.Other times I went to the library,and did my homework,or just listened to the music.
By taking control of my habits and making positive changes, I have regained my academic focus, improved my social skills, and adopted a healthier lifestyle.
