mistakes. I felt upset and even wanted to give up English. However, my English teacher encouraged me a lot. She
told me that failure is the mother of success. She also helped me whenever I had problems with English. I followed
her advice and worked harder. I spent two more hours on English every weekend. What’s more, I asked my teacher
and classmates for help when I had questions. After months of hard work, I made great progress in the next exam.
From this experience I learn that failure is not terrible. What matters is that we should face it with courage and
keep trying. As the saying goes, where there is a will, there is a way. It will help me grow up to be a better person.
