不定式作宾语补足语时,用于补充说明宾语的动作或状态,构成“主语+谓语+宾语+宾补(不定式)”结构。常见的能接不定式作宾补的动词有两类:
1)接带to的不定式作宾补的动词
这类动词后,不定式需带to,常见动词有ask,tell,want,teach,encourage等。

2)接不带to的不定式作宾补的动词

Some people prefer not to make things.
