形容词/副词最高级的用法
1.形容词最高级的用法:
基本句型:主语+动词+the+形容词最高级+比较范围(通常用介词of/in/among引导).
of/among+复数名词或代词:用于在一组同类事物内部进行比较。
例:He is the tallest of the three boys.他是这三个男孩中最高的。
This is the most interesting among all the books.这是所有书中最有趣的。
in+单数名词(表示范围、场所):用于在一个区域或范围内进行比较。
例:She is the best student in our class.她是我们班最好的学生。
The Nile River is the longest river in the world.尼罗河是世界最长的河。
2.副词最高级的用法:
基本句型:主语+动词(+the)+副词最高级+比较范围.
副词最高级前的the可以省略,但形容词最高级前的the不能省略。
例:He runs (the) fastest in his school.他在学校跑得最快。
She works (the) most carefully of all.她是所有人里工作最仔细地。
3.特殊用法与注意事项
1)最高级意义的其他表达法
①使用“比较级+than any other+单数名词”结构,表示“比任何其他……都……”,虽为比较级形式,但表达最高级含义。
例:He is taller than any other student in his class.=He is the tallest in his class.他在班上最高。
②使用“否定词+比较级(nothing/no one...+比较级+than)”表示最高级含义。
例:Nothing is more important than health.=Health is the most important thing.健康是最重要的事。
2)最高级前的修饰语
最高级前可以用序数词或much,by far,nearly,almost等词修饰,表示“第几最……”、“……得多”、“迄今为止最……”、“几乎是最……”等。
例:The Yellow River is the second longest river in China.黄河是中国第二长河。
This is by far the best movie I have ever seen.这是目前我看过的最好看的电影。

构成规则
1.单音节形容词和副词:一般在词尾加“ er”。

2.以不发音的“e”结尾的单音节词:直接加“ r”。
例:“nice”(好的)的比较级是“nicer”;“late”(晚地)的比较级是“later”。

Mount Qomolangma is a natural wonder.Reaching its top is a great achievement for any climber.However,the extreme conditions there,like thin air and changeable weather,make it very dangerous.Climbers have to risk their lives.The northern side was once called the “Death Road”.A famous difficult part is called the Second Step.In 1960,the first Chinese team was determined to reach the top from this side.Later,another team brought a ladder to the Second Step,which helped climbers for many years.In 2020,the height of the mountain was measured again precisely.So why do people climb it?Human curiosity and the spirit of exploration are key reasons.
