学情分析 学生在之前的学习中已掌握一些描述帮助他人的词汇（如help, give, support等），对“帮助他人”有基本认知。部分学生可能听说过某些慈善组织（如红十字会、希望工程）。 但仍存在很多问题1. 对国际慈善组织缺乏了解，不熟悉其标志和职能；2. 对慈善组织的英文名称和缩写记忆困难；3. 用英语描述慈善组织的工作方式时，词汇和句型储备不足；4. 对“慈善”的理解可能停留在“捐钱”的层面，缺乏对慈善意义的深层认识。
教学目标 通过本课时的学习，学生能够： 语言能力：1.掌握核心词汇：charity, ORBIS, UNICEF, Oxfam, WWF, blind, poor, provide, basic, support。2. 掌握重点句型：What does... do / It helps... / It provides... for...。3. 能够用英语识别并描述国际慈善组织的基本职能，讨论支持慈善的方式。 学习能力：1. 通过图片观察和匹配活动，培养信息识别能力。2. 通过听力练习和对话模仿，提高听说能力。3. 通过小组合作讨论，培养互助学习能力。 思维品质：1. 通过观察慈善组织标志和职能，培养分类归纳思维。2. 通过讨论“为什么要支持慈善”，培养因果推理和价值判断能力。3. 通过分析漫画寓意，培养批判性思维。 文化意识：1. 了解国际慈善组织及其工作方式，拓宽国际视野。2. 理解“一方有难，八方支援”的文化内涵。3. 培养关爱他人、乐于奉献的品质，增强社会责任感。

Step 2: Listen & Match (7 mins) 1. Students look at the pictures and listen. 2. Write down the charities: WWF, ORBIS, Doctors Without Borders, Save the Children. 3. Check answers together. 训练听力抓取信息的能力，初步认识四大国际慈善机构，建立视觉与词汇的联结。 85%以上学生能正确写出4个慈善机构名称，信息匹配准确。
Step 3: New Learning (12 mins) 1. WWF: World Wide Fund For Nature; protect the environment and wild animals. 2. ORBIS: help blind people in poor areas; Flying Eye Hospital. 3. Doctors Without Borders: provide medical treatment for people in need. 4. Save the Children: protect children in need. 5. Brief introduction: UNICEF, Project Hope, Oxfam, Smile Angel Foundation. 系统学习慈善机构的核心信息，为后续口语输出搭建内容支架，落实知识目标。 学生能准确朗读并复述各机构使命，理解核心含义。
Step 4: Listening Practice (8 mins) 1. Students listen to Amy and Simon’s conversation. 2. Answer the questions: What charity are they talking about When was it founded What does it do 3. Learn about Operation Smile. 强化听力细节理解，学习真实对话语料，拓展慈善机构知识。 学生能完整答对3道题，听懂对话主要内容。
Step 5: Read & Role-play (6 mins) 1. Students read the dialogue in pairs. 2. Practice in roles: Amy and Simon. 3. Correct pronunciation and intonation. 通过朗读内化句型，培养语感，提升口语表现力。 学生朗读流利，语音语调自然，能完成角色扮演。
Step 6: Speak & Group Work (5 mins) 1. Give the model dialogue. 2. Students practice in groups to introduce WWF, ORBIS, etc. 3. Several groups show their dialogues. 以句型为支架，开展合作式口语输出，实现从输入到输出的转化。 多数小组能运用句型完成对话，表达准确、流畅。
Step 7: Further Thinking & Summary (2 mins) 1. Discuss: What can we do for charities sell old books to raise money work as volunteers donate pocket money organize a charity show 2. Teacher summarizes: Helping others makes the world warm. 升华情感教育，引导学生思考力所能及的公益行动，实现育人目标。 学生积极思考，能说出2种以上可行做法，公益意识明显提升。
作业设计 Must do: 1. Write a recommendation to your favourite book. 2. Review the expressions to talk about a good read. 3. Preview Reading. Choose to do: Search online to explore more about the most interesting book you know in the class and prepare a brief book report.
