Okay, before starting today's class, I'd like to ask you students whether you know about a typhoon that occurred recently in China. Then, let's learn more about typhoons through this video.
The latest huge typhoon that hit China is named Hagar. It occurred on September 23, 2025. With a wind scale of 17, it made landfall in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. It had a significant impact on the coastal areas of our country.中国最近发生的一场巨大台风叫桦加沙，它发生于2025 年 9 月 23 日。风级是以17 级，在广东珠海登陆。它对我们国家的沿海地区造成了巨大影响。
What should we do when the typhoon comes
Keep an eye on the weather forecast. 密切关注天气预报。
Stock up on emergency supplies in advance. 提前储备物资。
