E-books or Paper Books
Nowadays, more and more people like reading e-books in their spare time with the invention of
e-readers. E-books have obvious advantages: they are easy to carry about and have a large capacity,
allowing people to store hundreds of books in one device. Besides, they are environmentally friendly
as no paper is used. However, long-time reading of e-books may harm eyesight.
Paper books also have their own charms. They are good for protecting eyesight and many paper
books are collectable, especially those with beautiful covers or limited editions. But they take up
much space and are not as convenient to carry as e-books.
As for me, I prefer paper books. There is a unique pleasure in flipping through paper pages, and
the touch and smell of paper make reading a more immersive experience. I also enjoy collecting my
favorite paper books.
