Have you ever dreamed of taking a car without a driver Now this dream is coming true. Self-driving cars, also called autonomous cars, are becoming popular around the world. They are one of the most amazing inventions in modern technology.
These cars use cameras, sensors (传感器) and computers to drive themselves. They can “see” traffic lights, other cars and people on the road. Unlike human drivers, they never feel tired or distracted, so they make driving much safer. Most road accidents happen because of human mistakes like careless driving or speeding. Self-driving cars can help cut down these accidents greatly.
They also bring much convenience to our life. For old and disabled people, these cars give them more freedom to go out without depending on others. For common people, we can read, listen to music or rest in the car on the way. We don’t need to hold the steering wheel (方向盘) all the time.
However, self-driving cars are not perfect. Bad weather like heavy rain or snow can make their sensors work poorly. They can’t deal with unexpected road problems quickly sometimes. Besides, many places don’t have strict rules for them. Scientists are still working to make them better and safer.
In the future, self-driving cars will change our life a lot. Maybe most cars on the road will be driverless, making our trips easier and roads safer.

36.Today, climate change has become one of the biggest challenges in the world. Temperatures are rising, ice is melting, and extreme weather happens more often. These changes are mostly caused by human activities, such as burning fossil fuels, cutting down too many trees, and heavy pollution.
Climate change brings serious problems. It makes natural disasters (灾难) more common, harms animals and plants, and even influences our food and water. To stop it from getting worse, everyone should take action to protect the environment.
First, we can live a low-carbon life. We can save energy by turning off lights and electronics when not in use. Taking buses, subways, riding bikes or walking greatly reduces air pollution. Second, we should reduce, reuse and recycle waste. Using fewer plastic products and planting more trees help clean the air and protect nature.
What’s more, we need to raise awareness (提高意识). We can tell our family and friends to join green activities. Small daily actions can make a big difference.
Protecting the environment is protecting ourselves. If we act now and work together, we can slow down climate change and build a better, greener world for the future.
