On January 2, 2025, an earthquake hit Yinchuan, Ningxia, Guo Qing, a senior high school student, was studying in the classroom when the ground began to shake.
Guo jumped to his feet and started to rush to the door. Suddenly, he saw a classmate who had difficulty moving frozen with fear in his seat. Without thinking twice, Guo returned, lifted his classmate onto his back, and ran outside.
The real challenge came up on the stairs, which were crowded with rushing students. It was hard for Guo to keep his balance. Focusing on each step,he moved carefully so that his classmate would not fall, Finally, they got out of the building safely.
