理解并运用过去进行时的基本结构（was/were + doing）来询问和描述过去某个特定时刻正在进行的动作；掌握与自然灾害相关的核心词汇（earthquake, flood, snowstorm, typhoon, drought, wildfire）。
2.学习难点
确区分并运用一般过去时（描述已完成的动作）和过去进行时（描述过去正在进行的动作）；在口语交流中流畅、准确地使用“when”和“while”引导的时间状语从句。
