非限制性定语从句
一、定义
[感知]
1.This is the computer (that/which) he bought for his son yesterday.
他昨天为他儿子买了那台电脑。
2.The woman who/that survived the earthquake is Amy's English teacher.
在地震中幸存的女士是埃米的英语老师。
3.He is English,which I know from his accent.

[探究]
1.句______是限制性定语从句。在意义上是先行词不可缺少的定语,用于修饰和限定先行词。如果去掉,主句的意思就不完整。这种从句和主句的关系十分密切,两者之间一般不用逗号分开;关系代词在从句中作_____时可以省略。
2.句3、句4中从句与主句之间有____隔开,从句和主句的关系不是十分密切,句3中定语从句是对____________这一事实进行的附加说明;句4中定语从句是对_______________进行了附加说明。

非限制性定语从句是对先行词或整个主句的附加说明,去掉了也不会影响主句的意思,它与主句之间通常用逗号分开;在翻译时常可译作“这”或“那”。将非限制性定语从句放在句子中间时,其前后都需要用逗号隔开。
注意:在非限制性定语从句中,即使用作宾语的关系代词(如whom,which)也不可以省略。

[归纳]
1.引导非限制性定语从句的关系代词有which、as、who、whom、whose等,可作定语从句的主语、宾语、表语或定语。
2.当先行词指人时,通常使用who、whom来引导非限制性定语从句;当先行词指物时,通常使用which来引导非限制性定语从句。关系代词不可以省略。另外,关系代词 that不能引导非限制性定语从句。
3.由as、which引导的非限制性定语从句,as和which可指代整个主句,且都可以在定语从句中作主语和宾语。
as和which引导非限制性定语从句时的区别
①as引导的定语从句可置于句首,而which引导的定语从句不可以。
②as后常接know,expect,report,say等动词的主动、被动语态句,有“正如,就像”之意;which常翻译为“这一点”。
