radiation, equipment failure, isolation...
What skills are needed
science, engineering, communication, teamwork
Why is mental strength important
stress, fear, long missions
Why does working in space call for a special blend of skill, talent and bravery as well as physical and mental strength Explain in your own words and include evidence.
Space missions require extremely hard physical training, advanced scientific skills and very high educational qualifications. They also require fearlessness because there are many dangers and risks. So, an astronaut needs to be many things: in top physical condition, a scientist and above all, a hero.
Without bravery, even the best-trained astronaut cannot complete the mission.
